Who runs this reference, and why
A wrap fails at the seam, and a specification fails at the number nobody can trace back to a document. This page names who publishes these pages, who makes the parts, and where the numbers came from.
One physical constraint, and everything filed under it
Start with the failure. A wraparound comes apart along its closure, not across the sleeve wall. Water tracks in under a lap closed short of the 50 mm minimum the chart sets for GMRS-115. That failure belongs to one family of parts, and no general cable-accessory catalogue is filed by it. Catalogues are filed by product type — tube, boot, kit, tape — and what these parts share is not a product type at all. It is an access problem. The feeder is energised. The pipeline is welded in the trench. The pole is standing in the ground. The U-bolt is torqued onto a live line. Nothing can be taken out, so nothing can be threaded over a free end, and the part has to close instead. That is the whole index.
Read this next paragraph before you read a comparison anywhere else on the site. The Overlap manufactures nothing. It holds no stock, sets no price and ships no part. Funding takes one line. The manufacturer pays for the site. There is no advertising on any page, no affiliate link, no sponsored placement and no payment from a third party. Nothing here is a survey of competing makes, because the publisher makes one of them. What the arrangement does buy a reader is access: these pages reproduce the manufacturer's own selection charts in full, including the rows, the tolerances and the contradictions a product page trims out.

Each one is visible on a page you can open now, which is the only way a stated policy is worth anything.
- A number is printed only if a document carries it. Every diameter, overlap, temperature and test result on this site is transcribed from the manufacturer's datasheets or its own product pages. Nothing is interpolated between two rows of a selection chart, and no figure is carried across from a neighbouring product because the compound looks similar.
- An absence is printed as an absence. The wrap-around sheet gives no recovery temperature, no adhesive softening point, no peel strength and no voltage class for GWS or GMRS. That is stated on the cable repair sleeve page, in place of a plausible figure lifted from the end cap table further down the same sheet.
- Where two of the manufacturer's own documents disagree, both readings go up with their sources. The pre-insulated sealing cap is published at -40 °C to 125 °C on one sheet and -40 °C to +100 °C on two others. The sealing cap page prints the split, names each document and says which reading the table takes.
- A test method travels with the figure it belongs to. Cathodic disbondment on the three-layer pipeline sleeve is 3 rad. The method is ISO 21809-3. Peel strength to a factory-applied epoxy coating is 120 N/cm at 25 °C and 35 N/cm at 50 °C. The method is ASTM D2671. Every method named on the site is set out once on test standards.
- A reconstructed sequence is labelled as ours. The manufacturer publishes parts, charts and test data, not numbered field procedures. Where a page sets out an order of work, a box at the top of it says so, and the instruction sheet in the carton overrides everything below that box.
- Nothing commercial is stated. Stock position, minimum order quantity, lead time, price and the shelf life of a pre-expanded sleeve appear on no page here. No document held here publishes any of them. Put those to the manufacturer through contact.
What is deliberately not covered, and where it sits instead
Six subjects are kept off this site on purpose. Tubing sold by the metre and cold shrink sit on shrink-tube.com. Jointing and termination kits sit on cablejointkit.com and 66kvcabletermination.com. Busbar sleeving, shrouds and line covers sit on busbarsleeves.com and busbar-boot.com. Pole crown caps and marine piling caps sit on anodecap.com. Those references share this publisher and this manufacturer, so read them as the same voice rather than as independent corroboration. The test for whether a part belongs on this site is one question: does it close around the substrate, or does it slide over a free end? That question is worked through on wraparound or tubular, which is also the only page here that mentions cold shrink at all.

Send a correction, and send the document with it
A figure here can be wrong, and a scan is worth more than a complaint. Quote the page path, the code and the line you dispute, then attach whatever reads otherwise — a later datasheet revision, a type-test report, a utility approval letter. Nothing moves on an assertion by itself, and that includes an assertion from the factory floor. If both documents survive the check, both go on the page with the revision each one carries.
